Context
You provide your mobile phone customers. You wish:
- Customers can contact you whenever they need to and you can receive incoming calls anywhere, anytime
- This number is often considered the hotline (hotline) and easy to remember
Problem
When the number of calls increase and demand change management, you encounter the following issues:
- One mobile sim only allow you to get the maximum 1 simultaneous calls at a time, and the Telco does not provide line hunting service to group multiple mobile numbers into a group in which the main number busy, the call shall be routed to other available number.
- There is no mechanism available to specify how to answer. eg call is someone answered during working hours, call is routed to IVR if out of work, emergency call may be routed immediately to the hotline
- No call recording and detailed history call processing
- Internal communication is not convenient and high costs
Forces
You have
- Staff in your office
- Salespeople move (outside the office) that the staff in the office, customers should contact
- Many branches
Solution
Buy or lease a PBX system is capable of resolving the problems outlined above
Buy
- The user connects to the PBX, can make calls from anywhere by using one of the following terminals (end-user devices):
- In the office / work at home: Use of desk phones (SIP), Wireless DECT (SIP) or softphone running on a PC
- Outside/ mobile work WITH IP connection to PABX: Using softphone running on smartphones
- Outside/ mobile work WITHOUT IP connection to the IP PBX: Use Onecontact (Mobifone) / MEG (Vinaphone)
- The PBX serves the users and connect to PSTN (public telecommunications network) using one or a combination of the following trunks
- GSM trunk: using one or more SIM card. GSM trunking allows easily moving to any location (across the country) without the need to change the number.
- Call to: Just provide a single mobile number for receiving all incoming calls. When the call to the main number is busy, the call will be routed to other avaible number (SIM) in the self-hunting group.
- Call out: You can select one of two ways: 1) showing a single number (must use Onecontact / Meg). 2) showing radom SIM subsriber number
- SIP trunk: SIP Trunking enables the operator can move to any place (in the province) without having to change numbers.
- Analog C/O and/or ISDN trunk is traditional and very difficult to keep the number when moving office
- In case the PBX has open access from the Internet, you need to equip addtional security devices to prevent hack and attacks and it is Session Border Controller
Rent
- Rent could be achieved in two ways: place installed system in your office or on the cloud.
- Rent if having installed system in your office allows keeping your existing C/O and/or ISDN trunk & its number. Conversely rent on Cloud will be difficult to retain these trunks & numbers
- Currently most of PBX service provider can meet the solution described above. It is important to choose the call quality and service support, cost of installation and rental fee
Resulting context
This solution offers a number of benefits:
- Staff can be contacted at any place
- Easy to deploy upgrades and expansion
- Save up phone charges (up to 90% compared with traditional PBX solution)
However, due to IP-based networks, the quality of the system depends on the quality of the network connection. Internal IP networks (switches, cables) to ensure stable operation and when the connection to the Internet, in addition to a stable connection, to allocate sufficient bandwidth for voice quality is guaranteed.
